Our story started in 1990 when Graham Boast founded the company with the help of loan from a customer who recognised Graham’s potential to run a successful business, extending the same level of customer care he had received from Graham to other customers all over the world.
Since that day, the business grew from strength to strength, and the natural progression was then to expand our services from each port, offering local warehousing and distribution as well as container transport by road and rail.
In 2003 Graham’s son-in-law Des Crane joined the company from a well known Global Telecommunications company (o2) having managed their second most successful UK store after London. Des quickly settled into his role as Operations Manager and in 2010 was appointed as Operations Director.
In 2008 Graham’s son George Boast joined the company from Maersk Logistics having worked on several major accounts. After 5 year as Operations Manager, George was appointed as a Director of the business focusing on development, sales and marketing.
Des and George have enjoyed expanding the business both in the UK and globally, establishing partnerships with new agents in the Far East, Middle East and the United States.
Following Graham’s recent retirement, the company is now owned and run by George and Des who both share Graham’s passion for shipping and delivering the highest levels of customer care. We are a family-run business, and our values extend to our dedicated team of staff who share our commitment to our customers, many of whom have been with us since the early days.
We are proud of the company’s knowledge and experience in the food and drink sector, in particular the nut and dried fruit industry which we have proudly served for over 25 years.
